This section controls UI resources (flags, silhouettes, icon mapping, operator colors).

1. Resource Management

Typical uploads:

1. OperatorFlags.zip + optional OperatorFlagsList.csv
2. DVSilhouettes.zip/Silhouettes.zip + optional Silhouettes.csv

After upload, verify:

1. success message with extracted image count,
2. Loaded counter is greater than 0,
3. resources render correctly in map/list.

2. Type Icon Mapping

Use this page to map aircraft types to icon assets.

Recommended sequence:

1. ensure assets are uploaded first,
2. then configure icon mapping.

3. Operator Colors

Defines airline/operator visual color mapping in UI.

Best practices:

1. test on a small subset first,
2. validate readability in both light and dark themes,
3. avoid near-identical colors.

4. If resources are loaded but still not visible

Checklist:

1. verify CSV keys match ZIP asset naming,
2. clear browser cache,
3. confirm icon mapping is not overriding expected silhouette behavior,
4. verify aircraft records include the expected type/operator metadata.
